About Us

My Tea Planner is your comprehensive guide to planning and hosting a most memorable afternoon tea party. It is arguably the finest one-stop resource of its kind currently available to you anywhere. Please let us know if you agree (or disagree) as we endeavor to maintain our status by continually improving our website.
My Tea Planner is our gift to people who love and actively participate in afternoon tea. But it is also for all life-long learners as well as those who have a particular interest in cooking, entertaining, event planning, world cultures, art and self-improvement. Anyone who wants to explore family history, etiquette, poetry and philosophical values is welcome to our website. You might even want to form a Tea Club and use our website as a resource. This site is for anyone who longs for a more fulfilling, dignified and meaningful way of life.

Who We Are

Rose Higashi and Kathleen Pedulla are an aunt (Rose) and niece (Kathleen) who grew up in a multi-cultural family in which afternoon tea was a part of daily life. Sharing Tea: The Road Back to Civilization is the product of our life experience in our nuclear family and our later educations, professional lives and travel. Serendipitously, while both of us continue to be grounded by afternoon tea, our professional experiences have evolved in a contrasting and complementary pattern.
