Tea Pot

[menu_navigation]

A teapot is a container with a small lid, a pouring spout and usually a handle. The teapot is used for infusing the tealeaves with hot water and serving tea. Teapots are made of materials which can withstand high temperatures, such as ceramic, earthenware, silver or other metal, or china. Clear glass teapots are trendy and attractive but impractical because tea creates brown stains in the inside of the pot, and it is very difficult to scrub out the inside of a teapot. There is a reason why the classic brown earthenware teapot has been a household staple for centuries.
